OLE JALLER
GAMEPLAY & TECHNICAL DESIGNER
Hello!
I'm Ole Jaller, Gameplay & Technical Designer and graduate of the Game Design program at Futuregames in Stockholm, Sweden.
My interest for games started early on with the MS-DOS version of Commander Keen and Super Mario Brothers on the NES. Years later I took my first peek behind the curtains of games with the warcraft/starcraft map editors and later again some experimentation in Maya and 3dsMax, a course in QA and Game Design that introduced me to Game Maker and Source Engine, that now continued on into Unity and Unreal Engine.
Before I started my studies at Futuregames I managed to catch the travel bug and during a 7 year period I spent about 4 of them backpacking on various adventures abroad.
During this period I have among other things:
-
Trekked the Himalayas
-
Dived at the Great Barrier Reef
-
Climbed a 6000m peak
-
Went tubing down a river in the Amazon rain forest with the locals
-
Taken a look at the Machu Picchu & Ankor Wat
-
Lived some 8 month or so in a tent while rebuilding homes and schools in Ecuador and Nepal during earthquake disaster relief projects
I'm now back with invaluable life experience and fresh pair of eyes looking for new challenges. Take a look at my CV or contact me through email for some more on me.
